Just seen this on guntrader.co.uk if anyone is interested.
My wife has threatened divorce if I buy it, but one of you might be interested.

The Enforcer is a mighty fine rifle.
I don't much care for the converted No.4 rifles but I have developed a great deal more respect and confidence in the Enforcer after reading of its development in answer to the short comings of L42 rifles at first leased to the Metropolitan Police and very often rejected by them.
The selection process for Enforcer actions and parts resulted in far more parts being rejected than sent on for assembly, so any Enforcer that retains all its original parts can be said to be the best of the breed. A real throughbred.

I' just so glad this is across the pond!
Mrs Shamu tells me that divorce would be kind compared to what she'd do to me if I even though about it. |

I have a gun dealer friend who would gladly ship it across for you!
Been speaking to him tonight, he knows where he can get me a No4 Mk2 still in the wrapping, I guess my divorce is one step nearer!!!!

Love "the mummy"!!
I saw a wrapped no4 mkII at a gunshow 3 or 4 years ago for $250. I thought the guy was way out of line because I had paid $95 for my no4 mk1.
If only I had known then what I know now...

Evil me? It all comes from serving the Crown for the last 28 years and my father's words.
'Friends come and go. Enemies last a life time.'
Can not wait to see the 'mummy' my gun dealer has found for me!

I agree it would be nice to have a new enfield in the box wrapped in paper. However to me one that has seen battle is with more to me from an historical stand point.
