Thanks Buddy, I hope since we live so close we can do some hunting together next season. You welcome to come up for some Turkey hunting in the spring.

Well Cookie Monster, I herd Turky Hunting is Addictive? so i dont think i want to get started in that . But the Deer hunt i'm allready addicted to so we might have to get together for a hunt next year/season if every thing goes well this new year. we will have to talk some on this so i can get my chics in a row.

Gentleman ! I feel I must come to Young Hatchet mans defense here ! I think his question about CM's daughters has been taken out of context here ! I feel that he was probarly interested in their age from the hunting point of view ! Meaning are they Old enough to hunt for themselves or are they of a young age that they accompany Dad when he goes hunting !
I do not think for one moment that any of us with daughters are not protective (I once told my eldest Daughters Husbane to be that I'd shot better man than him ! ) but I think this was a innocent question !

I dont think I ever mentioned anything about messing? You said your son was too young to take with you but not your eldest.

Well to tell you the truth I felt like waving a red rag when I posted that LOL

Of course I only had hoonourable intentions........

Though for a second there I did get a mental image of Cookie walking over to his safe and selecting his favourite enfield and matching bayonett and a charger full of ammo.

Did you do that to the bloke who took your daugher to that dance? Show him your bayonett and rifle collection. From what some of you yanks have said you have enough firearms to start your own army.

just  lay your arsenal out on the loungeroom floor just as he's about to come over..watch his beady little eyes bulge as you open the front door for him..

Yes that would work, also be cleaning and honing the edge on your hunting knife.

Actually read a humorous article in the paper about this. Need to be at the kitchen table, in work boots and pants and a wife-beater (sleeveless T-shirt)
cleaning the guns the first time the young man comes to the house. Stick on son-of-satan tattoo on the arm, and a camo cap. Had my daughter nearly in tears when she heard the plan!
