I'm finally getting some work in on my projects and this one should be all finished by next week. It's another rifle I had purchased from RTI several months back from their Ethiopian bunch. This was a C grade, missing bolt, magazine and safety and had some.... inventive.... Ethiopian repairs. I have already fitted a bolt and magazine and all other necessary parts are on the way. But the real kicker is the bore. I ran a wet patch, dry patch, wet patch, dry patch and got what you see in the pictures. I'm very pleased. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I'm close to getting this gal done. Assembled the bolt, sear, magazine release, etc. Did have to replace the sear spring, the old one was shot which is quite common on these Ethiopian rifles. I did learn something today, too. The sear for a No 5 is also lightened. I never knew that before.
