Excellent looking job

I’m looking at using this to replace the flash hider on mine as it is missing the bayonet lug.

I would love to just find a jungle carbine flash hider, seem to be as common as unicorn poop in NZ.

They aren't exactly common in the U.S.
Most that are are the Indian repro's to fit a bobbed No1 Barrel too

I have a "bobbed" No 5 flash hider needing similar treatment.
I had thought about doing a repair at some point or another but haven't gotten to it.
Mostly becuase I had only begun to envision the steps necessary to get it done.
OP's post will be reference for when I get to it for sure.
Thank you.

Doh! I just read my post ,I meant to say  mine was missing the bayonet lug .....not the flash hider .
I removed the locating pins but I couldnt get the flash hider off .......even tried heating it .
My replacement #5 is a much better example so it wasn't a total waste of time ......bl00dy well should be too....cost me more than my last car 😁
