It is right on at 175 yards. And makes about a 3 1/2 inch group at that yardage with open sights also. And I am shooting Federals Power Shok 303 British 150 grain soft ponts.
I realy believe that if the barrel was recrowned and a better shooter was doing the shooting then that rifle would shoot a lot better.
I am going to shoot a couple of times each week for the next 2 weeks to see if I can improve my shooting.
Deer season (firearm) is Nov. 10 through Nov. 18 and I've got the 15th through the 19th off. And I have 1 either sex tag and 2 antlerless tags.
As the old saying goes "the rifle will do its part if I do my part"
Love your neighbor as yourself.'...Mark12:31
He said to them, "But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one. Luke22:36

They are, They take milsurps and recondition. They have made some excellent Sporterizer versions as well. There not a Bubbarized cut down, they do quality work. Mine was  Golden State Santa Fe. Rhino has my Santa fe conversion now
