Well, looks like NATO will be forced to put up or shut up. Anyone who thought Putin would be satisfied with Ukraine (or parts of it) must have missed the memo when he stated "his goal was to return Russia to the former USSR." And it's sounding like Trump is on board... this was a long time coming, but it was always coming once Putin took power.

Agree, but i don't think Putin cares if they have zero interest in returning. Individually, there's not much smaller eastern European countries can do. Moldova, Estonia. Pick them off first. Poland? I think Russia would have a pretty good fight on there hands.
