After you went shooting and then cleaned the barrel with your trusty brass brush, how do you clean the brush itself? Carb and brake cleaners seem to be useless...

 Drop them in a jam jar with parrafin or kerosene screw the lid closed and let them soak.

I found a spray product called "ID RED". It is a commercial cleaner/degreaser & safe for plastics. Being a stock commercial cleaner it's about 1/2 the price of things like Gun Scrubber & works well.
