the thing to remember here is that this is a true international site , folks from most every continent drop in here , words sometimes mean different things to different folks , it not only adds to the confusion but also the madness here , all generally in good fun and with room for alternative input , but there are some very knowledgeable folks with a great deal to offer , also keep in mind that some of us are old but we still think young , just got a lot of hindsight to work with , :>}

Does any one know what branch of the Military Hoadie serviced in? I am thinking he was a member of the Gnome Defense Forces? The GDF is like the JDF but they still carry Enfields.
