#4 barrel threading

   I have a question posed by someone else who has found that his Canadian Longbranch barrel will not thread all the way into a Maltby action.He has also tried threading the Maltby barrels into Maltby actions and the barrels both thread all the way into the action, but not so with the Longbranch barrel. Anyone else here ever experienced this or know of why this would happen? Could there be a difference in threads between the manufacturers? I would think that due to war time expediency, all barrels would fit into any actions?
