OK, obviously there's something I'm missing, can't insert my text. Anyway this is my only (at the time) Enfield. I have installed an S&K mount and a Leapers
3-9 x 50 UTG scope. I'll be using this rifle to hunt coyotes.

The cheek pad is for a M-4 carbine. I picked it up at a gunshow. It has interchangeable pads so you can adjust the height. It works pretty well with the Enfield. I've been hauling and splitting firewood for the last several weeks. We get the majority of our heat from the wood stove so I spend a lot of time in the late summer/early fall gathering the wintwer supply in.

Have same mount on my own gun, can you remove the bolt with the mount fitted ? How does she shoot? B.

I can get my bolt out with no problem. I've heard other people say they couldn't remove their bolt also. I haven't had a chance to take her out to shoot, hope to get some trigger time in this weekend. That stack of wood is about 8' wide, 10' long, and 5' high. More than a cord, less than I need!

Thresher , Who told you that was more than a cord of wood stacked that way ? The Guy that deliverd it ?????
A cord is 4 foot X 4 Foot X 8 Foot stacked tight ! Not loose !!!
I seen a delievery Guy do that before to a naighbor of mine years ago... Funny thing I was not the one paying for the wood but I was the one arguing with the Delivery Man on what a cord is..... They can realy rip people off by stacking it with the spaces in it... especialy City folk...
I remember getting my tail busted for stacking it like that for my Great Unkle ! LOL!!! and I was just being a kid and trying to get out of work.....

Only the ends are cribbed, the rest is piled close. You stack the ends like that to keep the pile from falling and allow air to move thru the stack. We haven't had rain here for several weeks so I haven't tarped the pile. It's supposed to rain later this week so I'll get the tarp on to keep it dry. I still have trees down that need to be bucked and split, need to bring in about the same amount as I have now to get me thru the winter.
I have no idea who makes that cheek piece. It came in an un-marked package from a vendor at a gunshow. I'm hoping to find another one at the Columbus show later this month. If I find anymore info I'll be glad to pass it along.

Ohio ? Great I have an old Army Buddy in Ashtabuela (Probably not spelled correct) He was our Armourer over in Germany.
We have not talked or visited with each other since I left Germany.
One of My other Buds went through a Bud of His at the N.S.A. and found us.
Some day We will all get back together for a few Beers and some BS from the past....We are trying for a get together this X-Mass since I dont cellabrat that Holliday and He has no Kids . seems like a good time to get together and have one of my famous Bonn Fires....

The Ashtabula River Gorge is beautiful this time of year. There's a scenic railway that operates along the river, a nice trip. I live about 150 miles away, near a small town called Zanesville, home of Zane Grey and the only true"Y" bridge in the world.

Well, yes, it is indeed called a "cord of wood", but I'd venture that if he's been splitting and piling wood for several weeks he's got a hell of a lot more than a cord piled up! By the way, it is a lovely wood pile; and a beauty of a rifle as well!
