This is absolutely getting out of hand... #1 China has denied to the world that the coronavirus originated in Wuhan. #2 China still suggests that the US Government planted the virus on their soil. #3 When asked to help with testing equipment and medical supplies. The equipment and supplies were found to be faulty. #4 China is indicating that in the past few weeks, no new cases of the virus have been detected and has touted to the world, its apparent success in bringing the outbreak under control yet,in the same breath, have recently announced that there are more than1500 new cases that had not been previously made public nearly two weeks after their government stated that they have no new cases to date. #5 North Korea and Indonesia claim that they in fact have zero cases of the coronavirus. People. Look at it from this perspective point. You have just visually witnessed a man point a pistol directly at another man and then pull the trigger, shooting the other man square in the face and turning his head into a canoe. The shooter turns around, looks at you, sets the pistol down, and as he is walking away, states matter of factly that," I didn't do it. It wasn't me." China has a government that does not care about it's own people. They care even less about other nations, particularly the U.S.. In the first four facts listed, you have denial, lying, and deceit. China and its government need to be held accountable for this crime against humanity period. People are dying the world over while Chinas government stands there saying,"I didn't do it. It wasn't me."

I never believe anything I hear out of China. I was once hosteled with Red Chinese people, they were told all hotels in the West were segregated by gender so their wives were hosteled separately from them. It was actually to stop them defecting in droves. All were wearing identical Chairman Mao outfits & looked far more like prisoners that trusted Party members. We snuck a few of them to the other hostel to secretly meet their wives. Just dong out bit to screw with communism. Their Political officer got very excited about it & threatened us.

I apologize to the forum... I said a few days ago I was done voicing my thoughts on the current world situation. I'm now not...
Does anyone know why it's covid-19? Because it started in '19. I did not know this. This moniker and the timeline the Chinese are spouting didn't jive for me. I mentioned before, China has never been a friend to the west... ever. They took our military support decades ago only to advance their own insidious agenda. Part of this continuing agenda has been to enslave their people to produce items the west wants (not needs) cheaply. #1 import from China? Cell phones... That being said, us in the west are guilty of wanted products cheap and companies could see bigger profits due to considerably cheaper labour costs in the far East. I'm one of the guilty... but not any more! If it is even possible to by the things I want that aren't produced in China, I will. Gladly pay the extra cost to have it made in a free country. By the way, just read, "wet" markets are reopening in China... I'm stunned..

Basically its Bat Coronavirus 2019 mutation. Its a family of viruses & like most other viruses mutates frequently. "Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2).[7] The disease was first identified in 2019 in Wuhan, the capital of China's Hubei province, and has since spread globally, resulting in the ongoing 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic"

You may have a difficult time finding anything you need thats not made in China. They closed the plant in Hamilton - years ago - that made almost ALL the refridgerators in N. America. (Now made in China). T.Vs, appliances just bout everything.
When it comes to food products - ESPECIALLY SEAFOOD!! - I wont buy it. READ THE LABEL! Unfortunatley, we in Canada used to have lots of canning factories.Agriculture was huge here. Now we don't have ANY canning facilities at all. We have to rely on imported canned product. Fruit & veg. READ THE LABEL. South Africa has some great fruit products. U.S., Spain, S Africa, they're all good..stay away from China, Viet Nam etc |

SARS and SARS-COV-2 both originated from Wuhan China. Both spread globally. This is my take on what needs to be done to stop this once and for all in regards to China and its government...
The word “genocide” was first coined by Polish lawyer Raphäel Lemkin in 1944 in his book Axis Rule in Occupied Europe. It consists of the Greek prefix genos, meaning race or tribe, and the Latin suffix cide, meaning killing. Lemkin developed the term partly in response to the Nazi policies of systematic murder of Jewish people during the Holocaust, but also in response to previous instances in history of targeted actions aimed at the destruction of particular groups of people. Later on, Raphäel Lemkin led the campaign to have genocide recognised and codified as an international crime. Genocide was first recognised as a crime under international law in 1946 by the United Nations General Assembly (A/RES/96-I). It was codified as an independent crime in the 1948 Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide (the Genocide Convention). The Convention has been ratified by 149 States (as of January 2018). The International Court of Justice (ICJ) has repeatedly stated that the Convention embodies principles that are part of general customary international law. This means that whether or not States have ratified the Genocide Convention, they are all bound as a matter of law by the principle that genocide is a crime prohibited under international law. The ICJ has also stated that the prohibition of genocide is a peremptory norm of international law (or ius cogens) and consequently, no derogation from it is allowed. The definition of the crime of genocide as contained in Article II of the Genocide Convention was the result of a negotiating process and reflects the compromise reached among United Nations Member States in 1948 at the time of drafting the Convention. Genocide is defined in the same terms as in the Genocide Convention in the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (Article 6), as well as in the statutes of other international and hybrid jurisdictions. Many States have also criminalized genocide in their domestic law; others have yet to do so. DefinitionConvention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of GenocideIn the present Convention, genocide means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such:
Elements of the crimeThe Genocide Convention establishes in Article I that the crime of genocide may take place in the context of an armed conflict, international or non-international, but also in the context of a peaceful situation. The latter is less common but still possible. The same article establishes the obligation of the contracting parties to prevent and to punish the crime of genocide. The popular understanding of what constitutes genocide tends to be broader than the content of the norm under international law. Article II of the Genocide Convention contains a narrow definition of the crime of genocide, which includes two main elements:
The intent is the most difficult element to determine. To constitute genocide, there must be a proven intent on the part of perpetrators to physically destroy a national, ethnical, racial or religious group. Cultural destruction does not suffice, nor does an intention to simply disperse a group. It is this special intent, or dolus specialis, that makes the crime of genocide so unique. In addition, case law has associated intent with the existence of a State or organizational plan or policy, even if the definition of genocide in international law does not include that element. Importantly, the victims of genocide are deliberately targeted - not randomly – because of their real or perceived membership of one of the four groups protected under the Convention (which excludes political groups, for example). This means that the target of destruction must be the group, as such, and not its members as individuals. Genocide can also be committed against only a part of the group, as long as that part is identifiable (including within a geographically limited area) and “substantial.” |

Goosic... agree. No country in the modern world has the right to hide a potential world wide epidemic... you can't tell me that if a western world country had have seen this develop, they wouldn't have reached out to it's friends and allies. Eastern countries don't do this. Russia had Chernobyl that affected western countries. Silence. China? Multiple viruses that have and are threatening the free western world's economy and way of life. Cold war with the east? It may have just moved from posturing and sabre rattling to the next level... (I'm so glad we have Mr. Trump at the wheel during the next few months as this opening salvo from the East (economically and politically) takes shape... We won't lose...

Agree to disagree with me. I have absolutely no remorse or care should we in retaliation drop a couple of dozen nuclear bombs on them and turn that place into a huge sheet of glass. Burn everything to the subatomic level, leave it as the Zone of Alienation for a few millennia, and then let nature reset itself...

A joint strike force with the United States and Russia using fifty percent of each others nuclear weapons all placed 5 miles inside Chinas border in grid pattern until the whole of the country is canvassed. Russia still has a mothballed Tsar Bomba they could bring out of retirement.
