Very good point. I've been trying to keep the same powder (H4895) for all my six Lee Enfields. Two rifles use 150 gr Hornady Spire points, four like 174/180 gr projectiles. Latest Hodgdon load data for 174 gr projectile lists 34 gr min load, 38 gr Max load for H4895. Hence, my choice of 36 gr. I'm going to keep this powder load, but experiment with different 174/180 gr projectiles.

I'm getting more comfortable behind my No1 Lithgow and it's P-H apature sight. I just got back and got a 5.24" seven shot group (last of my 174 gr FMJBT's @ 100 yards. Next time out with this rifle will be with 174 gr SMK with 36 grs of H4895. What a fun rifle to shoot!
