Hey all,

What’s an excellent British no15mk1 chest running these days?
US or Canadian rate appreciated!

very fair to be weary of the new guy!

I never did do an introduction or anything but I am long time enfield enthusiast having owned 5 No4T rifles at one time, I am now down to 2.
I am restoring an original 1943 T I found as a barreled action only for $20 and have got everything I need to complete it right down to original pads.

I have an all matched 1944 with chest and scope tin which remains unfired for at least since 1971 when the guy I bought it from bought it 1971 and never fired it. It sat in storage until I nabbed it.

Anyway, I am not selling a chest and lurking for price, I am buying one and just want to make sure the deal is fair to both parties.

Thanks all!

Jon

1971 was about the time my Dad sold off one of his complete sniper kits that had not been used.  He sold another one in the 1990’s.  What are the odds?

The last time I saw a empty chest was twenty plus years ago at a show in Massachusetts.

It was in fair shape, was for a No7, had the inserts, carrying handles made of reused slings, still had a serial number painted on it.

A NoI, MKIII caught my eye and when I finish buying it I turned and the chest was gone.

Rats!

Empty, or full?
Location?
These things make a big difference.
I recently saw a good condition empty one go for $1300. That was on the Mid Atlantic coast.

There was no rifle included but it had the inserts to hold the Canadian No7 rifle.

Did not see the price on the label.
