Wink

Replaced the course lumpy grips with a set from ALTAMONT ordered in January.  Showed up in yesterdays mail.

They feel better and have a finer diamond checking.

Fitting was only a few moments to contour two small edges.

Just stepping in to also give Altamont a thumbs up. They make very good quality, reasonably priced stuff. Got a pair of their faux bone grips on my tiger wrangler that are wonderful.

While we’re on the subjects of P08 pistols, here are mine.  A 1918 and 1938.

i wish i had known a decade ago - i had a nazi marked BHP , but its long been gone - ive never been able to accept owning these items as much as ive admired them for what they were , i think i owned that one for all of three months , traded for a remington rand with kit which in turn was sold and transformed into an ithica of 1943 vintage ,

oh , the deals of days gone by , if i had everything i once had i would need a separate building just for them ,

...Wink...
Well I'm proud of you for holding them safe even for a short time.
If its the best we can and we do it be proud of your self. . I posesed a French MAS 1935 9X21, I didn't know why I bought the set along with holster, extra magazines brass and dies.

Less than a year later I was able to gift it to a Vietnamese officer I served with in '67/'68 through his son. Col. Deng sends me a Lunar New years card every Tet or a message through his son Leu.

Call it good relations. Smile

Here’s probably my favorite pistol of all time. Not because it is practical, but because it’s probably the first successful automatic pistol and the quality of manufacture is incredible, so much hand work went into getting parts to fit to a very high standard.   This is a pre-war (WWI) commercial.

I would hide that "pistol brace". Biden is trying to pass a law that makes those illegal to own. With that on the pistol, you now have a short barreled rifle, according to Biden...
