Nice butt 👍
1 above the D^D=Queensland Oz MD=Military District. It looks to be around a (1919 time) made Lithgow furniture piece, believe I can see the (FEH stamp mark) top middle of photo, has the Kangaroo sheild to the right of the butt disc which should have a very small! date (1919-20 etc) below it. Hope that’s of some help. Cheer’s.

I kind of want this one for my No1 build. Don't have a stock for it yet. I just really like Military marked up stuff. :)

Hard to tell, but it looks like the stock disc has what appears to be a 7 pointed star. What is that?

It's just the stock. I was going to ask if it's a Lithgow star? Edit: I see now it is. Thanks!

Yes it’s a Lithgow star, w ehave to remember that in ww1 a lot of rifles changed hands . Most of the rifles the aussie sand kiwis went to eygpt and gallipoli with where British manufactured rifles. It wasn’t until 1915 we started to receive our own rifles .

That`s cool info, did not know that. Always assumed you guys were building your own rifles. Learned something today, class is out, that`s all I can handle for one day....
