Many Years ago when they changed the registration system here in SA ,I was forced to take all of my Firearms into get them re registered ! The Copper watched in horror as two of us walked in holding a arm full of rifles each ,he asked (having being used to people coming through with a .22,shotgun & maybe a CF rifle ) are all those yours ???? I replied Yeah Mate ! He asked how many have you got ? I replied about 15 . He near had a stroke ! The ballon really went up when I broke the News to him that these were my Working rifles ..........The rest are still out in the Car !!!!!!  I must admit I have culled the number down these days! I got 25 on my licence and I know blokes that have got heaps more than that. Cant see the point in having a firearm that you never use.
I have only ever owned 1 semi auto and that was a nice little browning .22 that I inherited from my godfather. I got $300 in the gun buyback. Only thing I ever shot with it was a cat and would not have fired a packet of ammo through it in all.
