A Square 10, I have found that sometimes I pay a little more, or get something I want just becouse I want it. In my opinion if the shotgun is in good working condition and you want it, for a price that your comfortable. Then go for it. As far as draw backs the few I have seen had no draw backs, they were in sound condition

Many Martinis were coverted to shotguns and they are a good action so if it is in good nick I dont see a problem.

Is it a modern conversion?

Tough to shoot doubles...Wink  What was the concern? My friend just built a 45-70 Martini conversion, it should be plenty strong.

If it's the one I'm thinking of, it's gorgeous.

i think its the one you are thinking of , ive traded a treasured rifle that is truely a shooter , its the intent of the tradeing partner to shoot competetily and i know this rifle to be what he will need , im not a competitive rifle shooter so this fondly held example is going to a home i hope to be better as it will simply rest in my cabinet and a shooter deserves to be shot ,

this is what ive traded-

im shooting more trap these days and i need to quit shooting my double barrel stevens feild gun [it was my fathers -got it new in 1938 IIRC] to improve at all , id like to think ill shoot better with a trap gun , if not ill quit , but i also want to hold true to my dedication to collecting enfeilds ,
and this is what ive traded for -

It's a 12ga with a Remington 870 barrel and screw in chokes.

Default WTT Martini trap gun

I have a custom trap gun built on a Martini action that I'd like to trade. Honestly I'm not sure of it's monetary value since it was given to me. But I never use it so I would prefer to trade it for something that I would shoot. Here are some of the things I'd be interested in. A Savage 99 with the rotary magazine and counter. A Swede 96, 1917 Eddystone, 30-40 Krag, Persian Mauser or 03-A3 Springfield in original condition, no sporters. I would also be interested in a Martini or other rolling /falling block single shot rifle of most any caliber. I don't shoot pistols much but I would be interested in a Springfield XD. I will entertain other offers.

Awesome job, that's a sweet-lloking shottie.

I've always been a sucker for that grain pattern, in fact I'd thought of getting a "Kentucky rifle" just so I could have wood with the fiddleback pattern.

Yes, doubles are hard to shoot with a single barrel gun.
