I found the site, but it seems to be dead as the business is advertised as being for sale on e-bay!
How about this link? Does it work for you guys & is it the correct target? It prints out as a "SR-1, 100 yd reduced 200 yd target" http://www.gamecalls.net/free_stuff/targets/200%20reduced%20for%20100.pdf If it's the right one it is also on the U.S. Palma site where I posted the links earlier & that link seems to work. The link to gamecalls .com further up the thread works but it takes you to the menu of targets available. Which one are we downloading SW28 fan? |

I had been wondering about this for a bit and I found this thread. I take it that it never got started?
I for one would be really interested in it as weather and time permits. If anyone is still interested in this I'd certainly be interested in it. I think I have a solution for folks with limited range facilities but the devil would be in the details. I'd be interested to hear from anyone like minded. |

Its alive, ALIVE I tell you
I'd forgotten al about this thread. Take a look at these links & pick a target you like & lets see if we cam resurrect this idea! www.protargets.com/targets/index2.htm
A few thoughts on how to do it. Irons & scopes separate categories, but otherwise same basic idea. A 5-target (there are some in the link above) with one round on each, like samllbore shooting for 25 yd ranges. & a bigger single bull for 100 yd ones. that should enable most to get to a range that allows them to compete. |

How about the "Black dot of doom"? A 1" red/ pink square with a black dot in the middle shot at 100 yards. Ideal for scoped rifles.

Oh man, can I play too. I reckon this could be a sh*t load of fun. I hope you include "scoped sporters" and "handloads" ! And if I need a witness is there anybody near the "South East" of South Australia or "South West" Victoria ?

Ok we're getting categories already.
So far we have (by my estimation) @ 100yds: Original with irons, using MilSurp ammo. Scoped Milsurp amo. Original handloaded. Scoped handloaded. Duplicate for 25 yds. By my mental math that makes a winner in each category as we have only 8 shooters! |

One problem is the way my local range is build where you can only shoot sitting down resting on there bench or laying down.

In reality there's very little difference in accuracy between shooting from a bench & shooting prone.
Now for the $64 question...... Slings or offhand? |
