ya know id not have gone there save you bringin it up , but now that you mention it there is a nice southern exposure there and seems the sun hits it at a nice angle too , wonder what the output af that array might actually be in full sunlight ?

I keep trying to get the local barbers (both of them) to not give me a "Trumpover", but they won't listen.
I'm now threatening to just shave the whole darn thing & Turtle wax it weekly! |

I hear the barber doesn't charge you for cutting!! IT'S WHAT HE CALLS A SEARCH FEE. HE CUTS IT FOR FREE WHEN HE FINDS IT!!

Really fine job, Shamu. I had it full screen and it looked good to me. I will be watching it a few times more. When I speed it up I go all over the place. It's nice to know I can safely dry fire practice.
How about a video on loading the chargers? I end up standing to push them down. There has to be a better way. Beautiful rifle BTW.

25-5, a little trick I learned to help the charger loading issue is to make sure there are no burrs on the charger in any direction the rounds travel and to smooth out the metal floor then apply a very light coat of light oil like 3-in-1 household lubricant to the walls and floor of the chargers. Helped me tremendously over the years. Especially new chargers, they can be a bit of a pain in the posterior when new.

im not sayin you got the wrong barber - my recent approach has been to go to the local "sport clips"and those young gals are automatically giving me the senior discount as well as asking about my grandkids - they always kindly ask how i want it cut ..........the part creates itself after all these years and yes the temple recession is back to my ears , and dont even pretend with that full head of hair BS - i know how thin it is these days ,
they are kind enogh to trim the wild eyebrows - leave my ears alone ill cut them myself - im humiliated enough ,

is that like the "brill creme" of the 60s - "they love to get their fingers in your hair" stuff ? it was not my style - i use nothing but water to control my hair - if that dont work ...so be it , it is what you get , long - short - whatever , no pony tails or braids when its long either ,
i dont color - its white these days , i comb first thing out of the shower then hand brush with water from there , if i put a hat on - i wear one all day its gonna be a bad hair day - and i dont often wear a hat , as thin as it is these days it dont take a pick comb to untangle either - im sorta glad i still have some tho - my brother is bald - younger brother BTW

I would be pleased to do a bit on the charger loading. There is a trick on loading with the rough Indian chargers that may help a few. Not quite up to Brit standards, but makes those rough chargers usable. Been meaning to get the camera out again and I think I could fit the bill on that.
Shamu, I wasn't going to say anything but I can't help myself. That is a mighty fine rear handguard on that rifle |

Isn't it though!
ENABLER! There is a problem with many of the newer chargers, especially the rough, parkerized ones. The finish is "grabby" & they're too tight as well. The Italian-made onmes with the VII & random letter/number combos seem to be the worst, very tight. What you really need is the older blued finish ones, they slide way easier. I'd love to do a video on that but I can't as my scopes block the top of the receivers, so maybe I'll let BEAR do one for us? The best tricks I've seen is to use the correct loading sequence for the rims. & to push down immediately in front of the charger with the end of the thumb. There's actually a semi-circular cutout in the left side receiver wall at the correct point for the thumb to slide into. |

I guess my weekend is planned out then. I do have some of the older blued chargers, and those are slick to load with. I just have to dig them out. I have so many of the parkerized Indian ones that I just normally use those. With those I find it helps to also lift up on the top bullet. Gives more leverage that way. Not quite the correct way but does make them usable.

I did as Canuck suggested with some oil and fine steel wool. Works! I load em one up one down. Try it out next range time. Thanks. Works on en blocs too.
