Checked the local weather. I might be able to sneak a day in at the range this week as temps look like the may be a bit above freezing. I installed a walnut cheek piece and that Addley Precision scope mount on my No4 Parker Hale and haven't shot it yet.

Nothing but rain rain rain here on the WET coast of Canada. Makes my paper targets turn to pulp in a short time. I guess I could set up my gong instead.

Hoadie. It may be that I live in town! I own two lots, but it's still only 120' x 120'. Pretty sure someone would hear!

Goosic. It's a No4 Parker Hale Sporter. Shamu was kind enough to post some of my pictures of this rifle in it's infant stage. The hardware was painted OD. I've since added a walnut cheek piece from Brownells, a Addley Precision mount and an older 4x early Weaver. I had shot it with a SunOptics mount (do not buy) with the Weaver 4x (no cheek piece). I was using reloaded ammo that friends gave me (180gr) that I think their Dad's and their Dad's Dad's reloaded. I was a solid 2" group @ 100yds with this ammo.

No problem Shamu. The rifle has changed since those pics. Walnut cheek piece, Addley scope mount and OD 4x Weaver.
