Just got my .303B neck sizer and 100 PPU 150 gr FMJBT's today. Gonna load up a few to test on Monday. By my loading manual H4895 (my powder choice) min is 38.5, max 41. I'm going to load some 40 and 41's to test. Rifle will be my L39A1 clone equipped with a 1.5x4 Leupold straight scope previously sighted in with 150 gr Sierra ProHunters with 41 grs H4895. I'm curious to see which load shoots better. After doing quite a bit of research, concerned about stability (key holing.) I measured the PPU 174 gr FMJBT compared to this projectile. 1.24" vs 1.13". The 174 shot great, we'll see about the 150. Also concerned with both on performance on coyotes, fox. Again, research and some comments on this site are leading me to believe they not be the wonder pill I was thinking about in regards to pelt damage. Time will tell! Sorry for the novel!
