 Watching a great movie about an Irish peacekeeping force in Africa and saw this scene. I believe the soldier on left is holding a Lee Enfield No.4. Just thought all of you might find this interesting. DO'

It was a very interesting movie. They fought hard and held well to the end. They also should have been treated better at that time.

there are more enfields in that photo - mostly no4 but i think the one right of center is a no1

 I'm hearing may be or you should know but I don't know.

Jadotville is not available on netflicks in the central American code.

Well what can I expect you won't see is the siege of Kontum in 1968.

 Ok, I looked it up again. The movie I watched was The siege of Jadotville. I saw it on Netflix. 
  Afterwards I then looked it up on Wikipedia. The motion picture is very accurate. You are right about the rifle on the right. Looks like an earlier model.

"The siege of Jadotville" I watched this movie a few month's ago. It is a true story that was hushed up at the time. Excellent movie and interesting little piece of history.
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice!

It's been on my request list at net flix for over two years. Recommended by one of my kids who thinks he has his name on three of my #4T Enfield rifles.
