yes , the BZ prefix was used late 44 and into 45 , but thats as close as we get ,

Thank you Bear, it is a restored sporter. Took me a while. My buddy is happy with it.

It is stocked in black walnut. Very nice wood with which to work.

this photo on a stool reminds me of a very long time ago , the original skennertons enfield site , this fellow is not on the west coast and a boat racer by chance ? only askin because ive always wondered what happened to him , a lot of us migrated when that closed down , wandered and found other places to land , i think you might be one , john sukey was another as well as a couple others i liked , it has been years since i thought of those early days - it brought back great memories even if it might be the wrong stool ,
