Hi
I have a Receiver with Barrel from a striped down No4 Mk1, there are no parts on the receiver or barrel. I got them for free, so I'm giving them away for free. Local pickup only! Location:Puyallup, Peirce County, Washington State |

I've got a mess of projects already but if no one else speaks up in the next few days I'll see about heading out that way. Only a couple hours drive for me.

Can you verify the caliber is 7.62x51 and not 303 British? The barrel has the muzzle cut down to just in front of the front sight base similar to a L39/42A1. Those were chambered for the 7.62. If you can verify the caliber used being 7.62x51mm, I will drive up to you and get it. I used to have a girlfriend that was a waitress at Mrs.Turners Cafe there and I think Starla is still the owner. This would give me an excuse to put some added miles on my truck...

The barrel on my brother's .303 Lee Enfield has been cut just in front of the sight base.

Hi
I do believe it's 303 and I think the barrel has been cut down, but I can't be 100% sure. How would I check. Here are a few extra pic's. |

The receiver is a BSA made Enfield. The M47C is a definite give away on that.
Your barrel needs 1.75" of additional material past the muzzle to be a complete barrel FYI. If I were you, contact WilliamS on here and give it to him. That barrel is toast as well. Looking at your photo it appears that a chunk of the rifling is missing.

Hi I updated the title, the barrel is bad. I ran a plastic straw cleaner through the barrel to get the dust out, and I found the inside of the barrel has some pitting, it does have rifling all the way to the end, but it is really shallow rifling. |
