I went to the range this morning and tried out the PH5C on Frenchie. (The Hubble Telescope just didn't do it for me.)
This rifle is a consistent shooter regardless of what sight or optics it uses but, it will stay with the PH5C. I did add a cheek riser to give myself a better cheek weld and to bring my eye up for better alignment with the 6 hole Parker peep sight.
The round used was a Winchester case trimmed to 2.20" and loaded with 40.0grns of VihtaVuori N540. Primers used are Federal GM215M with a C.O.L. of 3.100" putting the 174grn PPU FMJBT projectiles 15 thousands of an inch away from the rifling while still allowing for reliable magazine feeding... |

Goosic. Real glad you opted oot of the "modern" scope. To my eye, it just didn't fit the classic lines of a Lee Enfield. Excellent shooting, by the by!
