Anyone have a wide blade front sight for a No. 4?  Parker Hale made them, I have two of them but they are too tall and I’d rather not file them down.  Looking for a -0.015, 0, or +.015 height.

The standard No. 4 blade is 0.05 inches wide, I’m looking for a 0.06 or preferably a 0.07 inch wide blade.

Base looks pretty thick to be a +0, might be misidentified.

+.07 on left and + 0 on right.

Can you measure the height from underside of base to top of blade?

I think the 0 x .060 would help.  I need to keep it as short as possible for getting a comfortable eye position.  I’ve got a -.015 x .050 on it now, so going up by .015 inches (2 MOA) should be OK.  PM me if you would like to sell it.

The perfect front sight for the rifle would be a -.015 x .070 wide.  It would also allow the rear sight elevation index marks to match the actual range at 200 yds which is a nice convenience for a 6:00 hold.  If I change to a center mass hold, the 0 x 0.070 would be about right.
