Not saying its quiet with Std Velocity CCI but if you listen closely you can hear the impact on the backstop immediately after the muzzle report. Its LOUDER!
Heck me working the bolt is louder!

I am guessing the brass falls in to the empty mag.

Have to get one to train the Grandbabies.

The seven year old Granddaughter thinks the No1 MkIII in 410 is a shoulder cannon.

Step up from MAS45.

Check online for the conversion kits!
Last time I looked the bolt, rim-fire head, barrel & magazine she!! were going for about $300.
Maybe call Numrich who were the last known retailer jobbing them out.
They're un-issued but fitting is minor & will fit any existing SMLE & it can be returned to .303 simply.Big smile

Yep, its just a she!! & the bolt has an extractor, but no ejector. When you pull the bolt back the case is pulled put & simply falls down inside it.

They come up for sale occasionally.  I picked up a Canadian stamped LSA Sht 22 IV recently to add to my BSA Sht 22 MkIV*.  They are both superbly accurate shooting into 3/4" or less at 50 yards at an indoor range from a rest.

These are great training rifles! My daughter started shooting my Enfield .22's at 7 years old.
A great rifle for all the family.
Also they are an excellent investment.
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice!
