it does appear to be a proper Cno7 , mine is a 1945 , it has darker stock furniture similar to yours , the other one i had [traded] had the blonde birch furniture , 

there were two runs of these made 44-45-46 run was just under 20,000 , the second run was 49-50 , it was a smaller number i dont have at hand right now , approx SN spreads on the first run =
1944 SN OL1- OL6000
1945 SN OL6000 - 1L0500
1946 SN 1L0500 - 2L0000

my box mag is prpperly marked and has the single feed ramp , 
the Britt no7 had a small 22cal mag mouned to make it a repeater , 

ive always wished the Cno7 had retained the bayo lugs like my no2 mkIII trainer
