	Thank you for the link to the video, I own a 2A myself with an Addley Precision scope mount and a vintage Redfield "Widefield" 1 3/4 - 5X scope (the original LVPO, by the way) and was amused to hear that in German red dot is pronounced "red dot" ;>) I'm sure you're aware of the caveat to only shoot 7.62 NATO ammunition in the Ishy 2A and 2A1 and avoid .308 Winchester.

	he!!o, my 2A1 is build in 1967. We have here in Germany a very strikt law about gun control. But here is also law for a proof test with higher pressure ammunition. My Ishapore is proved 1997 in 308 Win. I own the rifle five Years and have done around over 500 rounds with different cartriges in 7,62x51 and also 308 Win from differend manufactures - without any problems. The empty cases are always clean and without any sights of damage, In the sight of the pierced primer you can recognize if the cartrige may tend in an areal of a dangerous hight of pressure.

	That may explain the lack of Issues! Spanish 7.62X51NATO was rumored to be loaded light for the CETME rifles due to claims of punishing recoil. "The 7.62×51mm CETME round is a variant of the 7.62×51mm NATO rifle cartridge with a plastic-cored lead bullet and a reduced propellant charge. The 7.62×51mm CETME is otherwise identical to the NATO standard. It was produced as a joint venture by the Spanish Government design and development establishment known as CETME (Centro de Estudios Técnicos de Materiales Especiales, or "Center for Technical Studies of Special Materials") and the German arms manufacturer Heckler & Koch."

	Spanish 7.62 NATO is just that, a standard NATO cartridge. The CETME C was designed for the NATO cartridge, it’s the earlier CETMEs that required the special round. If it says NATO, it’s the NATO cartridge. It’s a massive rabbit hole to dive down, with some of the Spanish literature seeming to confuse some nomenclature.

	7.62 NATO is fine, and a better choice than .308 of which there are so many variations in bullet weight and load.
