I received a 1942 Long Branch #4/MK1 but am trying to figure out which butt stock profile this is from? To my eyes it appears to be quite similar to an EAL conversion with a Jostam recoil pad. However, this pad has the slots in a horizontal spacing rather than like the original EAL’s angular slots. The wood has a Parker Hale style sporter look to it and has a screw in sling stud rather than a military style sling setup. The rifle is in a standard LB configuration but has a cut down 2-groove barrel with a LB rear micrometer sight installed.
