You were right. I twas the beginning of the end. Only the end is still not in sight. This one I got because someone had it repaired. I believe it was the safety that was fixed and they couldn't afford it or thought it was too much for the gun. So I got it for the price of repairs $87. It is a 1917 BSA No 1 Mk 111. Only thing is the barrel has Parker Hale on it. The barrel is 20.75 " long. The only thing I can find out is that it might have been done up like this by Parker Hale. This one i have just started to reload for but that is another story.
