Disappointing report from Canada's DND

   That reminds me of a story I heard when I was a O/C in Cold Lake in 1982.  Seems a tech was tired of living.  There were several 104's in the hanger for maintenance, so he climbed into the cockpit, sat in the seat and pulled the handle.  Nothing happened!  Got out and sat in 2 more aircraft, same result, nothing.  He had discovered a defect in the ejection cartridges.  It's not like these things get a lot of use...

	i repeat - this is scary , when i was on vance AFB in the late 80s i watched more aircraft than that take off and do touch and go training between two fields - one new pilots and one experienced , thats just one airfield - i think there were near that many at the last airshow i was at ,,,,blue angles or some other show force
