No.5 Bayonet identification

   I was lucky enough to pick up another No. 5 bayonet and was wondering if the scabbard and bayonet are ww2 original. I believe the bayonet is marked with the Wilkinson wartime code (S294) but I can’t make out if the scabbard is marked or just dented. I have a matching S294 marked scabbard on my post war Poole marked bayonet so I’m considering swapping them but if the current scabbard is original WW2 I would keep them together.
Bonus pic of Wilkinson WW2, Poole 1946, RFI 1978, and a No.8 bayonet for the SLEM experimental rifle.

	very nice , i had a 36 poole and a WS war time no 5 so i appreciate what you have - i agree with the scabbard swap - might as well have things that go together - together as they should be , ive seen the GRI - never had one but from what i know they were well made variants came back to say - WELCOME - sorry i didnt say it up front , we appreciate you joining us here

	Thank you for the replies! I have been very lucky in regards to the No. 5s as I have obtained all three in different purchases (all unidentified in lots of bayonets from estate sales) in the last year for less than $450 total. I was also very fortunate with the No. 8 and paid well below what these rare bayonets go for typically. It was my third Enfield bayonet and I bought it in a grouping with a P1888 bayonet that belonged to the individuals grandfather who carried it in the Boer war so the story goes. He bought the No. 8 from a surplus store on a whim in the 60s after he left the armed forces, and had it positively identified before selling. Luckily he was willing to let it go for well below market to someone who would hold onto it and the other bayonet and appreciate it (and I will be sure to hold up my end of the bargain and have built a lot of my collection around those two bayonets). I just acquired a No.7 that I have some questions about so I’ll have to be sure to take a picture of everything together and add it to the collection thread.
