   Hey Eric,

A front door to your site is always a good thing, it makes a .com look more established and more than "just another forum". A front door can have a flash intro, pics, video, pretty much anything you want. 

Its always cool when you go to a site and your hit in the face with a cool Intro :) 

Also, some custom images on the forum skin are always impresive to see :) and it makes your profile a lot more individual. I like the Enfield on the top, but you could dress the forum up a bit by adding images of different model enfields to the forum topic lines etc....

I do all the images, flas etc for my site, I would be more than happy to knock something out for you if your interested, just holla
