HI all,
quick query, i need to move the front sight blade to the left, i know there is a special tool needed which i can get, but I have been told that I will have to remove the wood/stock? can it be done by only removing the nose cap? Its a 1916 MKIII BSA any help appreciated Douglass |

Do a quick search....there was a template for the tool posted....you could make it yourself for that extra sense of achievement!

You can use a brass drift and a SMALL hammer to gently tap the sight over.

As Tony said a brass drift. Remove the Nosecap and support the foresight block, this is important as the block can become stretched and loose if it is tapped to hard. I have seen foresights with a bit of rust which take a bit of moving. |

Duh....didnt read the post well enough....thinking of the No.4 tool...yea, what they said, drift away...some WD-40 to get her started doesnt hurt either
