Thank you for the oppertuinity to join this forum on one of my most beloved items... 3wood or .303 Lee Enfield. I have used it hunting kudu, impala, warthog, bluewildebeest, eland and Oryx. The eyebrows normaly lift when I pull her out of the bag, but she never let me down!!!

Welcome aboard.  Good to hear of a Lee Enfield being used for hunting.  Which one is it?  There were quite a few Long Toms around in South Africa once - I have one from South Africa that is sporterized beyond recognition almost, with a No4 barrel.  It has a Musgrave butt stock and a home made fore-end.  The butt stock was designed by the same man that designed the Musgrave Model 80 - my uncle.

Thank you for the warm welcome, mine is a Long Tom nr.4 sport. If you are related to the Musgrave family you are part of "gun royalty" in SA.
