My eyes aren't what they used to be so I find myself wanting to get an Enfield rifle that has been drilled and tapped. I know there are a lot of sporters out there so I figure I would start my search here. I don't care what model it is, just so long as it is set up for a scope mount. Doesn't even have to be a complete rifle, a barreled action with bolt will be fine as well so long as the barrel is good.

Caveat to all this is I won't be able to do anything until the end of January. Holiday expenses and all, you know. I just want to get the ball rolling on the search and see what people are asking for sporters at this point and what we can work out. Thanks for looking!

You don't actually need D&T!
There are a few excellent no drill no tap mounts out there.
The S&K Instamount
The Fulton (original)
& I hear great things about the BadAce although I've never owned one.

Oh I know, I was just using this as an excuse to get yet another rifle for the collection is all and hopefully provide a good home to an abused or neglected sporter.

I have checked out the BadAce mount and do like how it looks and mounts.

Let me know how much you want for it, Goosic. I sure wouldn't mind snagging that from you.

Sweet! Is it the Weaver type or the Picatinny rail one?
