I have a Mark 3 I'm refinishing. When I tried to unscrew the ejector, the head broke into two pieces, so ordered another one. When I try to screw in the new one, it won't go all the way in. What am I missing? Photo of the ejector below. Thanks in advance.

Its maybe a one for a No4 which has a different thread? OR if it goes in all the way with the bolt retracted fully its a little over length & needs fitting. OR you were accidentally sold the other screw of that diameter & pitch. I f I remember correctly the striker lock screw from the rear of the cocking piece?
