I loaded 10 rounds of 215 grain RN bullets for my No5Mk1 with the shorty barrel.
I clocked the load at 1950 fps, it was a bit slower than expected but I am sure it kills pretty good. I could load it higher but it shot into just under 2 inches at 75 yds. with the battle sights. The 150 and 180 grain bullets shoot pretty much the same on target despite the difference in bullet weight. The 215 grain loads shoot about 2 inches high and 2 inches right, knowing this I can shoot any of my reloads from 150 all the way to 215 grains and know where they shoot. Is 1950 fps with the 215 grain slug about what to expect?

Sounds about right to me. How is the recoil with the 215 grainers?
