I hunt with several .303's, and reload for them. The thing is, I have a
P14 that likes a lot heavier load than the Lee Enfields, and I don't
want to accidentally dismantle one of them with the wrong load. I would
like to acquire a chamber reamer for the Epps improved cartridge, and a
set of dies. If any one has a used reamer, let me know on the forum,
and we can work out a deal.

Another (Cheaper way ) is to dip the nose of your reloads with the
heavier loadings in paint to differate them from your normal
loads in much the same way as some .303 was marked as in Red for
tracer & Black for AP rnds ! I quite often use this methord when
testing different rounds/loads in the same cal. Making sure of course
that you only coat the area of the Bullet that will not engage the
lands & rifling

I realize this a a long sleeping thread, buttttt!!!
I was wondering if you ever got a reply for your rquest of an Epps reamer & die set? I'm also interested in acquiring one. I'm also interested in any pre-reams Epps barrels as well. I guess you can say I'm interested in ANY Epps related gear for reloading. |
