When I picked up my new to me No. 4 the other day it came with a handful of various items, including some new Winchester brass. 3 bags, different labels/colors etc 1 unopened and 2 partials, different generations let alone lot #s.
As the rifle will be in gunsmith purgatory for the foreseeable future thought I'd at least check out the brass. Casings were typical for bag packaged brass, necks dinged up a little but going to be sized up anyway so no worries there. When I started weight sorting I was a little concerned that there might be a noticeable difference between the different bags but was pleasantly surprised. All but 3 cases were within about 1.5grs of each other, hovering around 168grs. Even the 3 oddballs weren't too far off but set them aside for die set up etc. Not blue box tolerances by any means but really not bad, pretty happy.
