Hunting load for No 5

Wondering what kind of hunting loads you guys are using in your jungle carbines, since you loose about 200-250fps due to barrel length.  Using 150gr HN SP .312, rifle has excellent bore and rifling , headspace has been fixed to standards, action seems very strong, and checked out by gunsmith. Also has anyone noticed any difference between sierra 150 .311 and the HN .312 as far as velocity or accuracy using the same load
