Welcome to the fold, I have a couple old Weaver K2.5`s with German reticles (pointy post with cross hair). They look the part and work real well, if you can find a good one. And they`re not too spendy. I won`t even hesitate if I see/find a minty one.

So that's what they call that post with cross hair. Thank you! I have a K4 with the pointy post and wondered where it was derived from. I mounted it on my 1943 LB with the Addley Precision no gunsmithing scope mount.  |
