I saw a news article here in the US the other day where there was a plan to introduce beaver into Scotland somewhere????
WTF? Beavers, they were never native to the UK.
The big topic was the change beavers make to the environment by damming fast flowing, shallow streams.

Maybe the "grand plan" is to have the wolves predate the beaversConfused

I heard there having big problems now with the wolves in the park becoming alot like our bears are here, there into peoples campgrounds and don't seem to be bothered by the humans, so its only a matter of time until lil billy or lil suzy gets carried off as a snack.

Don't forget the joys of "Giardiasis (beaver fever). ".
There is nothing like it in the UK as of now. Introduce beavers & there will be.

Is this disease communicable to other species, and what does it do?
The South of England has only 2 good features. The M1 and the A1. Both roads will take you direct to Yorkshire!

Yep it's a parasite carried commonly by beavers & humans are affected by it.
Not exclusive to Beavers, but they are a very common carrier here in the U.S.
Link with the gruesome details.
