   I must admit, I wish he would stop this 51st state talk. It’s not going to happen for obvious reasons. He likes to poke at people, it’s a character flaw.  
 I think this will get back on track fairly soon, Trump will move on, he has other things to do. 

When he says “subsidizes” he means the US buys more from Canada than it sells to Canada.  The trade imbalance last year was close to $100B CDN.
