Very nice workmenship, hate to see any Enfield chopped up but if one had to end that way at least it is a quality conversion. I think that company takes any milsurp bolt action rifle and makes that weapon I have seen those with Springfields and Mausers

That isnt a conversion, that is a new manufacture rifle, that bloody AIA M10.

Dave is not keen on the things.
But the winters coming,

I have had a look at them in the local gunshop. Not a bad rifle but at $1000 + Australian I would be looking at a purpose built sporting rifle.
I guess if you wanted to shoot service rifle they would be ok but I have heard that the 7.62x39 ,odel had some feeding issues.
All in all a nice bit of gear but in my opinion a bit overpriced.

im gunna get in trouble off Hatchet but here goes..this bloke sells them,
 
yes they are dear as poison in my opinion, if i had 1300 bucks to spend on a boomstick,  well id have myself half a dozen more SMLE's LOL
 
i do recall , ages ago Dave saying somethin about blokes he knows havin a bugger of a time with these "made in Taiwan" firearms as well.

Yep I'm no fan of these rifles ! Several of my Mates tried the 7.62 x39  offerings & had major feeding problems with them ! I've met a Gent who had one in 7.62 Nato & fired a few rounds out of it . I can't say for he price I was overly impressed though !

also have a look at the heading,  "improved Enfields"..hes tellin porkys!! LOL what the hell can you improve on the Enfield?

The "Improved" ones wud be the ones newly acquired by ME, & residing with ME (some maybe even sleeping with ME)

The other version is .308 and takes M14/M1A mags
 
I thought they'd make a great truck rifle Ouch
