This might sound a strange but as mentioned in a previous thread, I collect ammunition, with 303 being my primary interest.  This extends to packets and boxes.

The recent thread by Goosic, in which he shows a Norma 20 round box, got me to thinking that many of you guys are shooters, not collectors and probably toss these boxes in the trash once the rounds are fired.

Whilst I mainly collect military rounds and boxes/packets, I do grab commercial boxes when available.

So - before you toss away your empty box, flick me a PM as will likely be interested in acquiring it from you.  The good thing about boxes is they can be flat packed and posted easily.  I don't need the inserts, just the box, as I fill them with Styrofoam.

I have a couple of 20 round Remington yellow & green "High Velocity with kleanbore priming" R303B1 180Gr SP Core Lokd you can have.
 I'm guessing 1970's? Lot #H10 wb3927Confused
They even have the white Styrofoam insert if that means anything.

Thanks guys Thumbs Up

@Shamu - will send you a PM.  I find that flat packing the box makes it easier to post them, so I just cut up some Styrofoam to insert into them before wrapping them in clear plastic.

@britrifles - those are very nice packages.  I have a string tied MH packet dated 1899 from the Dum Dum arsenal in India.  I'll have to dig it out and attach a picture.  My earlies dated 303 packet is 27 November 1902 Mk II ball, manufactured by Greenwood and Batley in the UK.

Whilst on the wrapper, this is one of my prised pieces and is going to end up framed.  It is for the rimless 303 that was trailed in the Lewis gun.  I have one example of each of the two known headstamps.

@hoadie - thank you!

Snow in Maryland you say?

No snow yet in my part of North Carolina as of yet and no snow all of last year.

You got my share! Send it back.
