My gunsmith in his store room of wonders has a  target sight that fits on a No4 receiver that uses the existing screw holes it was made by Alf J Parker and is a model 4/47 what was it intended for. He wants to build a "Right proper" target rifle on a No4 receiver he has.

Have a Nice Day
If already having a nice day please disregard

As Lithgow points out it was only the rear sight being the Aperture that was used ! The Tunnel type front apeture did'nt make a apperiance  until the 7.62 became the rnd of choice for Full Bore Target work .
