If you live in the U.S. "pissin' in beer" might be an improvement.Cry
Think "Iron City" (The pale, stale, ale with the head on the bottom), or "Old Milwaukee light" (like makin' love in a canoe) aka "Effin close to water".

Don't shoot till you see the whites of their thighs. (Unofficial motto of the Royal Air Force)

Well, Paddy said you were going to piss in his beer (see his earlier post).
I agree, pissin in someone's beer is not on, unless its Emu Bitter or something eqivilent. By the way for you blokes who haven't tasted EB it's got a taste not unlike diesel, only desperates and New Zealanders drink it usually.
Anyway, look at this welcome thread, I bet it's the first one that has run to 4 pages and 3 of them have nothing to do with welcoming anybody. I don't even recall who we were welcoming and I think he has left us already.
Did we come up with a mascot yet?

i tend to try things from time to time - because one never wants to pass on a good beer in this lifetime [ in heaven there is no beer] but , i tend to 'select' things i already like when im expecting to thoroughly enjoy it ,

that said , ill always sample whats recommended in the vicinity of my purchase , ive been pleasantly surprised on more than one occasion , ive also been nearly made sick on the first sip , the big thing here these days is the "designer" beers and micro brewery stuff , im underwhelmed so far the majority of the time ,

not that im a connoisseur by any means , its like art - when "i" like it , its good , otherwise someone else can pay for it ,

THE BEST BEER IS A FREE ONE

A SQ I agree. the BEST beer is someone else's & FREE!!
Lotsa micro & cottage breweries springin up in this neck of the woods as well. I gotta admit - some of 'em are nearing the "AWSOME" class! (If they get any "awesomer" I don't know WHAT I'll do). 'Course-a lot of it is just Panther Piss with a fancy name.

I am thinking Hoadie should be the mascot with crossed Enfields. An Enfield in each hand with a smile on his face.
Always looking for military manuals, Dodge M37 items, books on Berlin Germany, old atlases ( before 1946) , military maps of Scotland. English and Canadian gun parts.

Since I am allowed one drink a week (The Meds). I can be selective about what I have.  Usually Bass Ale or something from Germany. I have tried Foster's but I just as well have PBR.
Have a Nice Day
If already having a nice day please disregard
