The actual fiber-optic is kinda slim, so it can fit in small bores, but in a large one they're "Floppy" like dropping a hot dog down a well.Shocked I tried something I'll pass on as it worked pretty well.
Take one of those conical "cleaning rod guides" we all have a bunch of. Plastic is fine. Pass the fiber-optic through it, just as you would a cleaning rod & use it in the same way to steady, & center the optic. Its MUCH easier to keep framed & focused this way.
Now If I could just get a 90° head of the right diameter to fit the optic threads (I'm on the second set that don't) It should be even better still!
